CrabTap Terms of Service (Customers)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CrabTap as a customer. By creating a CrabTap account, you agree to these Terms.

1. What CrabTap Is

CrabTap is a shared digital loyalty platform. One CrabTap account lets you collect stamps and points across multiple, independent local businesses ("venues") that use CrabTap - no separate app or account is needed per venue.

2. Who Can Create an Account

You must be at least 16 years old to create a CrabTap account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

  • You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your login credentials secure.
  • Each person may hold only one CrabTap account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. CrabTap Is Free for Customers

Creating and using a CrabTap account is, and will always be, free of charge for customers. Venues pay CrabTap a subscription fee to offer their loyalty program - customers never pay CrabTap anything.

5. How Rewards Work

CrabTap is a technical platform only - we are not a rewards provider. Each venue you join independently decides:

  • What rewards are offered
  • How many stamps or points are required
  • The terms and validity of any promotion

CrabTap has no control over, and bears no responsibility for, a venue's failure to honor a reward - including if a venue closes, changes its reward terms, or otherwise fails to provide a reward you believe you've earned. Any dispute about a specific reward is between you and that venue directly.

6. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time from your Account Settings. Deletion is scheduled with a 30-day grace period:

  • During these 30 days, your account and data are held but inactive, and you may restore your account at any time by logging back in.
  • After 30 days, your account and all associated personal data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to fraudulently earn, transfer, or redeem stamps, points, or rewards
  • Create or use multiple accounts to circumvent venue reward limits
  • Interfere with the normal operation of CrabTap or attempt unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data

8. Notifications

You may receive transactional emails related to your account (e.g. confirmations, password resets) and, unless you mute a specific venue, promotional emails from venues you've joined. Push notifications are only sent if you've explicitly enabled them on your device, and can be disabled at any time.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, including for fraud, abuse, or attempts to circumvent venue reward systems.

10. Liability, Changes, and Governing Law

  • CrabTap provides the platform "as is," without guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrabTap's liability is limited to the operation of the platform itself, and excludes any dispute over rewards, which remains between you and the relevant venue (see Section 5).
  • We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated to registered users by email.
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland.
